Update from the book tour: One of our guest writers wrote about her experience at Randi’s fireside chat with Arianna Huffington.
As a New York City newbie, I am more than thrilled to take advantage of every event and opportunity I can while calling the “city that never sleeps” my home.

One of my more recent adventures included heading to Barnes & Noble in Union Square for an intimate conversation with Arianna Huffington and Dot Complicated’s own Randi Zuckerberg.

It was an honor to sit in the audience of this public event and listen to two of the world’s most digitally influential women. They talked about Randi’s new book and their own personal struggles with the tech-life balance that we are faced with everyday.
How refreshing it was to hear how these ladies struggle with logging out of Facebook and not checking their phones all the time too.
As Randi says, “Its no longer possible to separate your personal and professional identities,” but for that night, I was happy to merge the two.
Following the discussion and extended Q&A with the audience, Randi welcomed readers of all ages to come up and have their “Dot Complicated” or “Dot” book signed.
We chatted briefly about the blog and I couldn’t wait to dive right in to her new book with great advice on how to “untangle our wired lives,” in addition to many other tips and tricks.

All in all, this event was one not to be missed. You can also meet Randi at one of her additional upcoming book signings in California. Check out the full schedule here.
