If you’re like me and you watch Animal Planet’s “Puppy Bowl” instead of the slightly more well-known NFL “Super Bowl,” then you will agree that webcams of animals are arguably the greatest advancement in human technology over the last 2000-3000 years.

We all lead busy lives, and fortunately our modern, digital gizmos have given us the gift of enjoying animals without having to clean up after them. Buying a second monitor for your computer simply to display streaming video of any of the following critters is a worthy investment, trust me.

WARNING: Watching these squeezy little animal faces may be habit-forming.

1) Panda Bears

This webcam saves you a trip to China. Or the San Diego zoo.

2) Shiba Inus

Play this for your kids when they ask for a puppy. It will distract them while you run away.

3) Sea Lions

This camera is located at the Marine Mammal Center and shows San Francisco’s sea lions – this webcam also allows you to take control of it in case you want to do some sight-seeing.

4) Schnauzer Puppies

Enough camera angles to keep you from your responsibilities for days.

Catch up on the latest gossip around the water hole.

7) Penguins

10) And finally…KITTENS YOU CAN PLAY WITH!

Petfinder.com’s interactive kitten webcam may just be the greatest thing ever, and by the far the least-regretful webcam to lose your job over.
