The premise of the game is simple. Users can challenge their social media connections to trivia games. Categories range from the silly (character names in Mad Men) to the serious (chemical equations or parts of the human body). With 4 possible answer choices given, playing feels like competing on an episode of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?”

QuizUp is free for iOS. They’re working on releasing an Android version soon.
